Allen, Sowder Named Among Indy’s Best and Brightest
INDIANAPOLIS – Katz, Sapper & Miller’s Allison Allen and Alexis Sowder have been recognized as two of Indy’s 2023 Best and Brightest by Junior Achievement of Central Indiana. The award honors 100 of central Indiana’s outstanding young professionals, ages 40 and under across 10 different industries, who are chosen based on the impact they are making in our community through their professional accomplishments, civic contributions, and leadership.
Allison Allen
Allen, a director in KSM’s Audit & Assurance Services Group, was selected as a finalist in the Accounting category. In her role, Allen works with clients to help them minimize risk, maximize efficiencies, and ensure accurate financial reporting, which includes assisting with the implementation of new accounting standards. She has experience in several industries, including real estate and hospitality. Allen currently serves as treasurer for the national board for Pass the Torch for Women Foundation and as a board member and treasurer for Trusted Mentors Inc.
Alexis Sowder
Sowder, a director of client services with KSM Location Advisors, KSM’s site selection and incentive consulting practice, was selected as a finalist in the Real Estate category. In her role, Sowder leads the execution of projects, working with clients and economic development officials for both incentive and location advisory assignments. She currently serves as a board member and treasurer of Circle City Prep, a college preparatory charter school for students on the Far Eastside of Indianapolis.
Allen and Sowder, along with the other finalists, will be recognized at an awards program in downtown Indianapolis on Thursday, March 23.
