Andrew Goodman Recognized as 2023 Rising Star by CFMA

Katz, Sapper & Miller, a leading advisory, tax, and audit firm, is pleased to announce that Andrew Goodman, partner-in-charge of KSM’s Construction Services Group, has been recognized as a 2023 Rising Star by the Construction Financial Management Association (CFMA), a nonprofit organization dedicated to the success and growth of construction financial professionals.

This year marks the third class of CFMA’s Rising Stars, which recognizes inspiring people under the age of 40 who positively impact the construction industry and their companies.

At KSM, Goodman leads a team of construction professionals who assist clients in navigating the ever-changing environment of financial reporting and operational controls, helping to ensure they are up to date on best practices and making profitable business decisions.

Goodman is among an elite group of financial professionals who hold CFMA’s Certified Construction Industry Financial Professional (CCIFP) premier designation. This credential demonstrates a high level of competence in all areas of construction financial management and is the only construction financial management certification accredited by the ANSI National Accreditation Board. KSM’s construction practice includes seven professionals who have earned the CCIFP designation, ranking the firm in the top 10% nationwide.

Goodman currently serves as the executive vice president of CFMA’s Central Indiana Chapter and on the leadership committee for the Associated General Contractors of Indiana (ACGI). He is also a member of the Building Contractors Association of Fort Wayne, Construction Industry CPAs and Consultants, Indiana Subcontractors Association, and Indiana Constructors Inc. Additionally, he serves on the finance committee for Mother Theodore Catholic Academies in Indianapolis, an organization which seeks to provide a Catholic education of the highest quality to children in under-served communities.
