Borchers Named to Fort Wayne Business Weekly's Forty Under 40
FORT WAYNE – Katz, Sapper & Miller (KSM), a leading advisory, tax, and audit firm, is pleased to announce that Valerie Borchers has been named to the Greater Fort Wayne Business Weekly’s Forty Under 40 Class of 2024. The program honors 40 individuals 39 years of age and younger who have made a difference in northeast Indiana both on the job and in the community. These young professionals were chosen by a panel of distinguished judges.
Borchers, a director in KSM’s Fort Wayne office and member of the firm’s Outsourced Finance & Accounting Services Group, provides real-time visibility into her clients’ operations, maximizing efficiencies and identifying opportunities for improvement. She assists clients with various reporting needs, budgeting, and forecasting. She also manages and analyzes cash flow forecasting, key performance indicators, and industry benchmarks.
Beyond KSM, Borchers’ commitment to community service and her entrepreneurial spirit make her a standout in the Fort Wayne community. She has successfully helped start more than 10 companies, many in northeast Indiana. She is also involved in many charitable organizations either as a volunteer, professional resource, or financial supporter, a few of which include Sonrise Church of Fort Wayne, Project216, Neighborlink, Destiny Rescue, Nicaragua Resource Network, Mission Preborn, St. Jude Children’s Hospital, and Operation Christmas Child.
Borchers was recognized along with the other Forty Under 40 winners at an awards program in Fort Wayne on March 28.
