Doing Great Things Featuring Aditya Maheshwari of Kanak

In that spirit, we present “Doing Great Things,” a video series that spotlights the amazing work our clients do, day in and day out, in response to the COVID-19 crisis.

In the second episode, Amy Lehrman, managing director of KSM’s Fort Wayne, IN office, speaks with Aditya Maheshwari, CEO of Kanak, a manufacturing client based in Fort Wayne. Refusing to be driven by fear when the pandemic began, Aditya and his team carefully planned for possible market scenarios and identified opportunities for growth for both of Kanak’s business lines – Kanak Naturals and Kanak Exports. As a result, Kanak Naturals, which produces compostable single-use dinnerware, recently signed its single largest contract ever, and Kanak Exports designed and produced innovations targeted to the school industry – including antimicrobial laminates and mobile handwashing units –that are now in demand across other industries as well.

“With the demand we’re seeing, we have no plans to change direction in any way other than we are doubling down on our business,” says Aditya. “Our plan is to grow and keep building our team.”
