Doing Great Things Featuring Chris Brown and Dr. Peter Plantes of hc1
“Inspiring great people to do great things” is Katz, Sapper & Miller’s mission, and we’re honored to play a small part in helping clients across a wide variety of industries think big, bring their innovative ideas to life, and serve their communities and customers.
In that spirit, we present “Doing Great Things,” a video series that spotlights the amazing work our clients do, day in and day out, in response to the COVID-19 crisis.
In our first episode, Casse Tate, partner in our firm’s Business Advisory Group, speaks with Chris Brown and Dr. Peter Plantes of hc1, a long-time KSM client based in Indianapolis. A leader in bioinformatics, hc1 develops software that helps healthcare organizations facilitate precision testing and prescribing to deliver high-value care. In late March, as the coronavirus spread around the world, hc1 tapped into its trove of COVID-19 testing data to develop a dashboard based on a metric it calls the “Local Risk Index,” or LRI. The LRI helps public health professionals and healthcare providers identify accelerating COVID-19 infection rates in their local areas so they can proactively prepare for a potential outbreak. Another new product, Workforce Advisor, uses data to help large employers get their employees safely back to the office.
Watch the video and learn how hc1 answered a market need with creativity, agility, and purpose.
