Investing in What Matters Most: Our People
At KSM, our greatest investment is in our people. As we continue to grow and evolve, we remain focused on fostering an environment where our team members have the flexibility to shape their careers, the support to excel, and the opportunity to make a real impact.
Our 2024 employee annual report highlights the initiatives, programs, and investments that elevate the KSM employee experience – reinforcing our commitment to a culture of empowerment, connection, and career exploration.
Flexibility That Works
We know that success looks different for everyone, so we continue to improve our personalized hours plans (PHPs), giving employees more control over their schedules. In 2024, we introduced a PHP discretionary hours activity guide to help KSMers focus their time on what matters most to them – whether it’s community involvement, innovation, or career development.
In 2025, we’re launching Unplug Week, a firmwide closure during the week of July Fourth, ensuring everyone has the chance to disconnect, recharge, and return refreshed.
KSM remains dedicated to building a workplace where careers thrive and individuality is celebrated.
Empowering Career Growth
We believe in empowering employees to own their careers. Our refreshed mentorship program has already connected nearly 200 KSM mentors and mentees, while our expanded learning and development initiatives – including unified tax and audit training, eLearning, and leadership development – ensure that everyone has access to the resources they need to succeed.
We’re investing in emerging technologies, too, with AI-driven tools like ChatGPT Enterprise, HubSync, and Inflo helping employees streamline tasks and focus on impactful work.
In 2024, we also welcomed three organizations, Cassady Schiller, SGKK, and ValueKnowledge LLC to KSM. These strategic acquisitions have expanded our capabilities and created exciting opportunities for our people.
A Culture of Caring
KSM is built on meaningful relationships and mutual support. Our growing employee resource groups, including Working Parents, Women, Mental Wellbeing, Remote, and SURGE (early-career professionals), offer spaces for employees to engage with others who share their experiences and interests.
We’ve also enhanced benefits like Care.com for family care, BrightPlan for financial wellness, and SupportLinc for mental health to ensure our people feel supported in all aspects of life.
With a new Indianapolis headquarters coming in 2026, and continued investments in our people, KSM remains dedicated to building a workplace where careers thrive and individuality is celebrated.
