Katz, Sapper & Miller Introduces New Partners in 2021

INDIANAPOLIS – Katz, Sapper & Miller is pleased to announce the promotion of Troy Hogan and Ben Lyon to partner. Committed to helping their clients achieve their vision for their businesses, both Troy and Ben provide deep technical expertise, innovative solutions, and superior client service.

Troy Hogan is a member of KSM’s Business Advisory and Transportation Services Groups. Troy advises clients in a wide variety of accounting, tax, and business matters and consults with clients to manage business issues specific to the transportation industry. He applies his extensive experience in tax planning and structuring, tax compliance, financial statement analysis, and representation and advocacy before the IRS to help clients find solutions for concerns including per diem, fuel tax credits, and entity restructuring. Troy received both a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting and a Master of Accountancy degree from Manchester College.

Ben Lyon is a member of KSM’s Business Advisory Group. Ben consults with his clients on federal and multistate tax issues to help them maximize their tax savings opportunities while minimizing risks. Additionally, he provides general business and accounting advisory services to businesses and their owners. Ben is an active member of KSM’s Construction and Transportation Services Groups. He received a Bachelor of Science degree in business operations and decision technologies as well as a Master of Professional Accountancy degree from Indiana University. Ben has also earned the prestigious Certified Construction Industry Financial Professional (CCIFP) designation.
