KSM Announces New Corporate Headquarters

November 15, 2024

KSM

INDIANAPOLIS – KSM (Katz, Sapper & Miller), a leading advisory, tax, and audit firm, today announced its plans to relocate its corporate headquarters within Indianapolis in mid-2026. The new 81,000-square-foot space will be tailored to KSM’s evolving needs, with a move planned for the summer of 2026. This reimagined headquarters will provide an enhanced experience for both employees and clients, offering flexible workspaces and an array of amenities that cater to the wants and needs of employees post-pandemic.

The firm will not be moving far from its current location at 800 E. 96th St., on the border of Indianapolis and northern suburb Carmel. It will stay within the Parkwood Crossing office park, moving west of College Ave. to Six Parkwood, located at 600 E. 96th St. KSM will occupy the third and fourth floors and a portion of the first floor of Six Parkwood, with the ability to continue to grow within the building.

“Investing in this new space is a commitment to continuing to provide our employees the opportunity to grow their careers by facilitating their best work for their clients. It is also a commitment to remaining an independent, employee-owned firm,” said Tim Cook, KSM CEO and president. “Together with our design partners, we are looking forward to creating an innovative, modern workspace that reflects our vibrant culture and our vision for the future of our firm. Whether based in Indianapolis, a regional office, or fully remote elsewhere, this new space will better serve all KSM’s people as they come together for collaboration, team building, learning, mentoring, and serving our clients.”

While hybrid work will remain a part of KSM’s long-term strategy to provide the flexibility and autonomy that employees want, the firm’s new headquarters will be an appealing destination for in-office collaboration, teambuilding, mentorship, and more. Employees from all over the country will gather at KSM headquarters for firm events, relationship building, and in-person training and development.

KSM’s workforce has grown significantly over the past several years with its total number of employees more than doubling since Jan. 1, 2021. With 360 employees living and working in the Indianapolis metro, KSM also employs an additional 390 team members in Fort Wayne, IN, Evansville, IN, Cincinnati, Oklahoma City, New York City, and remote locations around the U.S. Just in 2024, KSM completed two major acquisitions: Cincinnati CPA firm Cassady Schiller and its 70 employees joined KSM in June, while the November acquisition of CPA firm Shanholt Glassman Klein Kramer & Co. added 65 employees in New York City.

KSM has been continually recognized as an employee-centric workplace. For the past 19 consecutive years, the firm has been named among the Best Places to Work in Indiana. Earlier this year, KSM ranked #18 on Vault’s 2025 Accounting 25, a listing of the 25 best accounting employers to work for in North America, and was recognized by the Women’s Fund of Greater Fort Wayne for creating more equitable workplaces for women.

JLL, a global commercial real estate firm, provided guidance throughout the process of selecting and securing the new headquarters space. JLL will also oversee the buildout of the new space.
