KSM Launches IT Services To Drive Business Success Through Technology
INDIANAPOLIS – KSM (Katz, Sapper & Miller), a leading advisory, tax, and audit firm, today announced the launch of its newest advisory offering, information technology services. This new service will provide businesses with strategic IT consulting and solutions that enhance efficiency, security, and innovation. KSM’s Information Technology Services Group will be led by David Eckel, a seasoned technology executive with over 30 years of experience delivering technology solutions across various industries.
“In today’s digital landscape, businesses need more than just technology – they need a roadmap to ensure their IT investments align with broader business goals,” said Eckel. “Our IT services are designed to provide forward-thinking strategies and hands-on solutions that help organizations navigate the complexities of modern technology.”
KSM’s IT Services Group offers a range of services to help businesses make informed technology decisions, improve operational resilience, and stay competitive. These services include:
- Information Technology Strategy – Developing comprehensive IT plans, optimizing infrastructure, improving security, establishing best practices, and driving digital transformation initiatives
- Virtual CIO Services – Providing executive-level IT leadership and strategic guidance without the need for a full-time CIO
- AI, Analytics, and Automation – Leveraging artificial intelligence, predictive analytics, and automation to enhance efficiency and data-driven decision-making

Eckel brings to KSM extensive experience in IT consulting and specializes in helping clients align technology with their business goals – driving efficiency, value, and growth. His background includes serving as senior vice president of Fortude’s Microsoft technologies-focused practice, where he helped clients accelerate growth with digital solutions in data, automation, AI, and cloud technologies. Earlier in his career, he co-founded and served as CEO of a regional cloud and managed services provider, which was later acquired by a leading supply chain consulting firm. Post-acquisition, Eckel served as managing partner of enterprise solutions and technology business units for the firm. Throughout his career, he has assisted organizations in the distribution, engineering, e-commerce, healthcare, manufacturing, retail, transportation, and not-for-profit sectors.
“Our mission has always been to help businesses achieve their goals, and information technology is a critical part of that equation,” said Tim Cook, KSM CEO and president. “With the launch of our IT Services Group under David’s leadership, we are furthering our commitment to delivering innovative advisory solutions that empower our clients to thrive in an increasingly complex business environment.”
