KSM Names Five New Partners for 2025
INDIANAPOLIS – KSM (Katz, Sapper & Miller), a leading advisory, tax, and audit firm, is pleased to announce the promotion of five individuals as they join the KSM partnership, effective Jan. 1, 2025. Their deep technical expertise, strategic leadership, and unwavering commitment to excellence will drive KSM’s continued success in delivering exceptional results and exceeding client expectations.
Angie Monahan is a member of KSM’s State & Local Tax Group. Monahan educates multistate clients on the plethora of tax rules in all 50 states, helping them find tax efficiencies while complying with obligations, maximizing opportunities, and reducing risk along the way. She also consults on strategies and structures to manage state and local tax positions. Monahan received a Bachelor of Science degree in psychology from Indiana University and a Doctor of Jurisprudence degree from Loyola University Chicago School of Law.
Sarah Schenkel is a member of KSM’s Audit & Assurance Services Group. Schenkel assists clients in navigating the ever-changing environment of financial reporting and accounting standards, helping to ensure they are up to date on best practices and operational controls in order to make profitable business decisions. Schenkel graduated summa cum laude from Manchester University with a Bachelor of Science degree in financial accounting.
Ali Todd is a member of KSM’s Business Advisory and Veterinary Services Groups. Utilizing her extensive technical expertise, Todd works closely with her clients to understand their challenges and provide practical solutions, including tax planning, operational financial management consulting, and creating action plans to enhance profits. Todd received a Bachelor of Arts degree in economics from DePauw University and a Masters of Professional Accounting degree from Indiana University’s Kelley School of Business.
Jacob Weide is a member of KSM’s Business Advisory Group. Weide has extensive experience in tax compliance, income tax accounting, tax consulting, and other tax planning matters. He serves clients of various sizes – from high-growth start-ups to large public and private corporations – and equips them with the advice they need to minimize their tax liabilities and exposure while making valuable business decisions. Weide graduated summa cum laude from Wittenberg University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in management and accounting.
Amy Zimmer is a member of KSM’s State & Local Tax Group. Zimmer specializes in multistate income tax compliance and consulting for businesses and their owners. Her assistance in these projects includes negotiating and implementing voluntary disclosure agreements, negotiating settlements with taxing jurisdictions, coordinating multistate tax research, and assisting with complex multistate tax compliance. Zimmer received a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting from Ball State University.
