Malik Named Among Indy’s Best and Brightest

INDIANAPOLIS – Katz, Sapper & Miller’s Zee Malik has been recognized as one of Indy’s 2024 Best and Brightest by Junior Achievement of Central Indiana. The award honors 100 of central Indiana’s up-and-coming young professionals across 10 different industries. Honorees are chosen based on their impact on the community through their professional accomplishments, civic contributions, character, and leadership.

Malik, a partner in KSM’s Audit & Assurance Services Group, was selected as a finalist in the Accounting category. At KSM, Malik advises clients to help them solve their operational challenges and provides guidance on how to alleviate business concerns, specifically in areas of accounting, reporting, compliance, and internal control matters. Malik is an active member of KSM’s Transportation and Construction industry groups. He also serves private equity-owned companies and is a member of the firm’s Transaction Advisory Services Group.

Outside of KSM, Malik is a member of the American Institute of CPAs, Indiana CPA Society, and Missouri Trucking Association (MoTA), where he is a part of MoTA’s 2023 leadership program class. He is also a member of the Illinois Trucking Association (ITA) and was part of ITA’s 2018 leadership program class. Malik serves on the Annual Council Conference Committee, Membership Committee, Allied Committee, and Investment Committee for the North Carolina Trucking Association. Additionally, he is the chair of the Education Steering Committee for the Central Indiana chapter of the Construction Financial Management Association.

Malik, along with the other finalists, will be recognized at an awards program in downtown Indianapolis on Thursday, March 21.
