Mike Schmeer Joins KSM as Director of Corporate Development

INDIANAPOLIS – Katz, Sapper & Miller, a leading advisory, tax, and audit firm, is pleased to announce that Mike Schmeer has joined the firm as director of corporate development.

Schmeer will work closely with KSM’s executive committee, industry group, practice, and office leaders to identify opportunities for growth through merger and acquisition activity and other strategic partnerships.

Schmeer brings to the firm more than 15 years of experience in corporate development, business development, corporate strategy, and client growth. Prior to joining KSM, he most recently served as corporate development director for UHY Advisors, driving more than $31 million in inorganic growth for the firm. Before his tenure with UHY Advisors, Schmeer served as a senior client relationship manager for Bryan Cave Leighton Paisner, a large international law firm, where he was responsible for the creation and implementation of its business development function. Prior to that, he worked as a global business development account director for E&Y overseeing sales initiatives on one of the firm’s top 20 largest global clients.

Schmeer graduated from the University of Missouri with a Bachelor of Arts degree in business administration and marketing.
