Tom Laine Joins KSM’s Transaction Advisory Services Group as a Director

INDIANAPOLIS – KSM (Katz, Sapper & Miller), a leading advisory, tax, and audit firm, is pleased to announce that Tom Laine has joined the firm as a director in its Transaction Advisory Services Group.

In his role, Laine will work with private equity firms and strategic investors to help them better understand their deals through financial due diligence, including quality of earnings, working capital analyses, and other deal-related matters.

“Tom’s depth of experience and strategic vision make him an invaluable addition to our team,” said Jennifer Miller, partner at KSM and co-leader of the firm’s Transaction Advisory Services Group. “We are excited to have him on board to help our clients navigate the complexities of financial transactions and drive continued growth in the transaction advisory practice.”

Prior to joining KSM, Laine served as a director of transaction advisory services for a top accounting firm, where he managed the department, led numerous engagements, and spearheaded strategic initiatives. His extensive experience includes senior roles at a Big Four accounting firm and in corporate M&A for a large consumer products company.

Laine received both his Master of Accountancy degree and Bachelor of Science in Business and Accountancy degree from Miami University. He is also a veteran who proudly served in the U.S. Marine Corps Forces Reserve.
