Alex Szarenski is a director in Katz, Sapper & Miller’s Tax Services Group. Using his extensive analytical and technical expertise, Alex works with clients in numerous industries to help them effectively navigate tax controversies. He also identifies tax savings opportunities, particularly through using the research tax credit, ultimately enabling clients to invest more into their business.
Alex received a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting from Grand Valley State University as well as a Doctor of Jurisprudence degree from the Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of Law.
Alex is a member of the American Institute of CPAs, the Indiana CPA Society, the Indiana State Bar Association, the Indianapolis Bar Association, and the American Bar Association. He serves as a board member for the Indiana Canine Assistant Network (ICAN).
