April Meade is a manager in Katz, Sapper & Miller’s State & Local Tax Group. April provides guidance to clients on a variety of multistate tax matters, including analyzing their state tax consequences and helping them resolve complicated sales tax issues.
Prior to joining the firm, April worked as a staff attorney for the Indiana Department of Environmental Management, hearing officer for the Indiana Department of Revenue, and associate attorney for Wright & Associates, P.C. Her experience includes sales and use tax, income tax, withholding tax, and other types of tax audits.
April received a Juris Doctorate from Robert H. McKinney School of Law and a Bachelor of Arts degree from Oklahoma City University.
April is a member of the Institute for Professionals in Taxation and the Indiana State Bar Association.
