Bob Johns is a senior manager of healthcare consulting with KSM’s Healthcare Resources Group. Bob helps hospitals and health systems secure the Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) Look-Alike designation so they can optimize their Medicare and Medicaid reimbursements, reduce emergency room overuse, improve care for uninsured and Medicaid patients, and find solutions for their behavioral health needs.
Bob brings extensive experience in healthcare consulting to KSM. Prior to joining the firm, Bob served as the executive director for Lee Community Healthcare, Lee Health’s community health center that provides primary medical care to the medically uninsured and economically distressed residents of Southwest Florida. He has also previously served as the senior vice president of development and special projects for Family Health Centers of Southwest Florida.

Bob earned a master’s degree in public administration from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He holds a post-graduate certificate in public health from the University of Florida.
Bob is a member of the National Association of Community Health Centers and the Florida Association of Community Health Centers and serves on the board of directors of the Health Planning Council of Southwest Florida. He also serves on the allocation team for the United Way of Lee, Hendry, and Glade Counties and as a board member for Evangelical Christian School in Fort Myers, FL. Additionally, Bob is actively involved with Providence Christian Church, where he is a youth group and worship leader.
