Cheryl Howe is a director in Katz, Sapper & Miller’s Real Estate Services Group. Cheryl helps the firm’s real estate clients maximize tax savings opportunities and thoughtfully plan for the future. She has more than 25 years of experience in both public accounting and in the private sector. Cheryl specializes in the federal and state taxation of partnerships, with a focus on real estate and REITs.
Prior to joining KSM, Cheryl served as a director at Andersen, where she reviewed federal and state partnership returns for real estate, private equity, and investment clients. She also served as a vice president at Morgan Stanley, with oversight over several global real estate funds, ensuring the accuracy and completeness of federal and state partnership and corporate tax returns, estimated payments, and withholding payments. Her background also includes three years spent with a Big Four accounting firm.
Cheryl received a Bachelor of Accountancy degree and a Master of Accountancy degree from New Mexico State University.
Cheryl volunteers with Honor Flight, which honors WWII, Korean War, and Vietnam War veterans with a visit to Washington, D.C.
