Corey McSweeney is a director in Katz, Sapper & Miller’s Fort Wayne office and a member of the firm’s Audit & Assurance Services Group. Corey focuses on providing value-added accounting services to his clients, helping them avoid risk and navigate opportunities to improve their business. Additionally, he has worked on various sell-side financial due diligence projects, which have helped clients with business succession. He serves clients in an array of industries with a focus on construction, manufacturing and distribution, and not-for-profit.
Corey graduated from Purdue University Fort Wayne with a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting and received a Master’s in Accounting degree from the University of Michigan.
He has also earned the prestigious Certified Construction Industry Financial Professional (CCIFP) designation, which is an indication of his expertise in the area of construction financial management.
Corey is a member of the American Institute of CPAs and the Indiana CPA Society. He serves on the program committee of the Building Contractors Association of Northeast Indiana (BCA) and the programming task force for the Associated General Contractors of Indiana (AGCI). Additionally, Corey serves as a board treasurer for Hemophilia of Indiana and as a board member for the University of Michigan Alumni Club’s Fort Wayne chapter.
