Erin Wagoner is director of people operations for Katz, Sapper & Miller. Erin works closely with KSM leadership to foster a positive work environment, develop a strong organizational culture, and align HR practices with the firm’s strategic objectives. She is dedicated to attracting and retaining talented individuals by optimizing the KSM employee experience through meaningful connection, leadership and technical development, and holistic support.
Erin started her career as an auditor for KSM in 2004 before transitioning into a business advisor role. Prior to returning to KSM in 2022, Erin served as the chief financial officer and operating officer for Servant Solutions, a not-for-profit financial services organization. She also previously served as a professor of accounting at her alma mater, Anderson University.
I love poetry, and Mary Oliver is my favorite poet. Her poem “The Summer Day” ends with the line, “Tell me, what is it you plan to do with your one wild and precious life?” I try to make the most of each day of my one wild and precious life.
Erin received a Bachelor of Arts degree in accounting from Anderson University and a Master of Science degree in accounting from Ball State University.
Erin is a member of the American Institute of CPAs and the Indiana CPA Society. She serves as the treasurer for the board of directors for a local not-for-profit organization, Grace Horizon.
