Jason Patch is the partner-in-charge of Katz, Sapper & Miller’s audit services. In this role, Jason leads audit professionals across the firm to deliver core audit and assurance services with excellence. He oversees the hiring and ongoing development of audit talent and collaborates with the firm’s tax and advisory practices as well as industry group leaders to ensure a world-class experience for KSM clients.
Jason is also a member of KSM’s executive committee, a six-person leadership team that sets and oversees the firm’s strategic direction.
Since joining the firm in 2001, Jason has provided audit, review, and attestation services to clients in numerous industries, with a particular emphasis in manufacturing and distribution. He currently serves as the partner-in-charge of the firm’s Manufacturing & Distribution Services Group and is a member of the ESOP Services Group. Jason helps clients navigate the ever-changing environment of financial reporting and operational controls, ensuring they are up to date on best practices and making profitable business decisions. He also consults with his clients on various federal and state tax issues.
Jason graduated magna cum laude from Manchester College with a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting. He also graduated with distinction from the same institution with a Master of Accountancy degree.
Jason is a member of the American Institute of CPAs, the Indiana CPA Society, the Indiana Manufacturers Association, the Indiana Tooling and Machining Association, the Central Indiana chapter of the Association for Operations Management (APICS), Conexus Indiana’s Manufacturing Executive Committee, and the Indiana chapter of The ESOP Association.
Jason previously served on the board of directors for School on Wheels and is a graduate of the United Way of Central Indiana’s Leadership United program and Leadership Indianapolis’ Association LEAD program.
