Kari Mills is a manager in KSM’s Audit & Assurance Services Group. Kari performs financial statement audits and reviews to help ensure clients’ accurate financial reporting and assist them with avoiding risk and maximizing efficiencies. She also performs compliance audits to help ensure clients are conforming with the Uniform Guidance for those with significant federal award programs. She serves clients in a variety of industries, including governmental and not-for-profit entities.
Prior to joining KSM, Kari worked in the attest department at one of western New York’s regional accounting and business consulting firms for more than seven years.
Kari received a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting and finance from the State University of New York Brockport.
Kari is a member of the American Institute of CPAs, the Government Finance Officers Association, and the New York State Society of CPAs, where she serves on the Government Accounting and Auditing Committee.
