Ryan Sadkowski is a director in KSM’s Transaction Advisory Services Group. Working on both buy-side and sell-side transactions, Ryan helps private equity firms, strategic buyers, lenders, and sellers understand the full picture of a company’s operations and financial performance. He takes a deep-dive approach to understanding risk, any hurdles, and key financial milestones that impact the overall quality of earnings and the probability of a successful outcome for all stakeholders.
Ryan’s expertise lies in sell-side transactions. He collaborates with key management to craft an organization’s growth story that is objectively backed by financial metrics, whether or not a sell-side advisor is involved. Ryan previously worked at one of the largest independently owned investment banking firms in the U.S. prior to its acquisition. As a generalist, Ryan covered all sectors, including consumer; industrials; business services; technology, media, and telecommunications (TMT); and oil and gas. Ryan brings banking processes to the quality of earnings space to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and responsiveness to move a sell-side process forward.
Additionally, Ryan has previously worked in operational consulting, where he worked with private equity firms and their portfolio companies to identify and implement more economically effective processes that do not impede day-to-day operations. In that role, he focused on driving strategic growth initiatives to ultimately improve the bottom line.
Ryan received both a Bachelor of Science degree in financial counseling and planning and a Master of Science degree in finance from Krannert’s School of Management at Purdue University. While attending Purdue University, Ryan competed for the Purdue football team earning a Distinguished Big Ten Scholar award and receiving Academic All-Big Ten accolades during his tenure.
Ryan is a member of the Association for Corporate Growth (ACG) Indiana.
